Satchi and Satchi together with Structural Graphics created a one of a kind experience for the 2018 Camry. This is one of those rare occasions where an agency’s highest dreams are brought to reality. They launched this campaign in an issue of InStyle magazine…the book was literally inserted into the magazine. At first glance, the cover seems pretty ordinary with a high gloss coating and simple colors. Then you open a double gatefold, that gives the artist two spreads for design. On the first spread, there are lifesize door handles that look and feel like a car door handle. By lifting up the handles, you are opening the brochure. Simple instructions direct you to hold your finger on the heart rate monitor pads. As you open the car doors, you’re welcomed into this amazing experience of sitting the in the front seat of the 2018 Camry. You can smell the scent of new leather; you can see the display lights turn on; you can see your heart rate beating faster and faster. The entire dashboard and driving wheel pop up giving it depth.
