Blue Apron is a pioneer in the meal-kit delivery space, being the first company to go public this past summer. As you might know, they are under rapid fire with a declining share price and a looming class action lawsuit. The lawsuit says they misled investors to think they were increasing spending on advertising, when in fact they decided to significantly reduce. I’m not sure what to think. The company produces a great product and they sent me a $30 gift card. Maybe I would feel different if I had purchased shares at the IPO.
This piece is a good example of a tipped on gift card that is nested in a roll fold mini brochure. The thought behind a glued card is that the consumer will probably throw away the mail but keep the card. Great imagery…I like how the panel showing the ingredients folds over to show the final prepared dish. This promotion lasts till October 31st!
